On October 8, 2006, Anthony Head participated in the 24 Hour Plays Gala Fundraiser at the Old Vic Theatre. This consisted of 6 plays written rehearsed and performed within 24 hours. Tony appeared in a play called Bourbon playing a character called Reuben Chateaubriand.

A deleted scene from Doctor Who: School Reunion is available on SciFi.com.

This episode will debut in Canada on October 23 at 8 pm on CBC.

The complete 2nd series is scheduled for release on DVD in the UK on November 20, 2006 and in the U.S. and Canada on January 16, 2007.

According to anthonyhead.org, Anthony Head is filming a guest starring role in the upcoming second series of the BBC2 show Sensitive Skin, starring Joanna Lumley. An air date is not currently available.

Play.com is listing Anthony Head as the narrator of an upcoming Doctor Who audiobook: Doctor Who - The Nightmare of Black Island. This is scheduled for release on November 6, 2006.

"On a lonely stretch of Welsh coastline a fisherman is killed by a hideous creature from beneath the waves. When the Doctor and Rose arrive, they discover a village where the children are plagued by nightmares, and the nights are ruled by monsters. The villagers suspect that ancient industrialist Nathanial Morton is to blame, but the Doctor has suspicions of his own. Who are the ancient figures that sleep in the old priory? What are the monsters that prowl the woods after sunset? What is the light that glows in the disused lighthouse on Black Island? As the children's nightmares get worse, The Doctor and Rose discover an alien plot to resurrect an ancient evil."

According to anthonyhead.org, Anthony Head appeared in the Little Britain Live Comic Relief Special on November 22 at the Apollo Hammersmith Theatre in London.

He will also be appearing with the show at the Carling Academy Brixton in London on November 23 and 24, 2006.

Anthonyhead.org has announced that Anthony Head and Sarah Fisher will be attending the Blue Cross Christmas carol concert on December 14, 2006. This will be at 7:00 pm in St Peter's Church, Eaton Square, London. Tony will be welcoming people to the event and doing a reading.

Anthony Head has filmed a short film called Amelia and Michael playing the role of Michael. The film explores the themes of love, loss, materialism and fidelity. As this is a short film, it will most likely only be shown at film festivals.

According to anthonyhead.org, a review of the movie and an interview with Tony appear in the Christmas 2006 issue of Hot Dog magazine.

Amelia and Michael is a 12min short film shot o­n 35mm and starring Anthony Head (Buffy, Little Britain).... The film was Executive Produced by Richard Johns, Producer of the Oscar-nominated Shadow of the Vampire. The film has already received 'expressions of interest' from the two leading short film Sales Agents and is scheduled for submission to over 100 festivals, including all 80 Oscar, BAFTA and European Film Award-nominating festivals.

Anthonyhead.org has confirmed that Anthony Head will be appearing the upcoming film version of Sweeney Todd. His character is not yet confirmed.

The movie is being directed by Tim Burton, and will star Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen.

The special will air in two parts on BBC (with repeats on BBC3): Part one will air on Christmas Day at 10:30 pm and Part two will air December 30 at 9:15 pm. Based on the BBC Press Release, Anthony Head will be appearing in the second part for certain.
