Interview with Anthony Head and Sarah Fisher, held on their Somerset farm. There are various shots throughout of the two of them at various locations on the farm.Anthony Head: I'm Anthony Head. I'm an actor. Some people think that we live a wild life but, um, I'm just going to show you the real kind of wild life that I'm interested in. (He walks over to Sarah who is holding a young fox.) This is Spud - well this is not Spud, this is Sarah, this is my partner. But this is Spud and he's seven weeks old and he was found in someone's garden and he's going to be going to Secret World. Anthony voiceover: Why do I choose to live here rather than some swollen metropolis like LA? Well, it's this or the eco storm drain. Go figure. This is...beautiful. Sarah Fisher: I was walking in one of the fields over there and Tony was in America when we brought the property and I just had this sense that it was amazing. A skylark had just flown up in front of me as I’m walking along with the dogs and there's a deer grazing at the bottom of the field and there was a hare just across from one corner. Wow, we're not that far from Bath and it's all going on right here. This is real, this is what it's about. Anthony: There's something extremely grounding about living and working with animals that it keeps your feet on the floor and when I come back here with me lala ways, it doesn't take too long, you know, you might go out on horse or you're just around animals and as I say, they teach you an enormous amount. Anthony voiceover: I work in a business that's very transitory, that one minute you can have a job and the next minute you don't have a job. You never know what's happening from minute to minute. But animals are constant and nature is constant and it's something that we try and interfere with constantly. |
