Little Britain - Series TwoTelevision series - recurring role (UK) Little Britain - Main Series summary: Sketch comedy series by David Walliams and Matt Lucas Episodes - Series Two
Summary of Anthony Head's storyline: Episode 2.01: (NOTE: The new opening credits for the second series include the Prime Minister and Sebastian standing outside 10 Downing Street.) The narration is done over a brief, outside scene of the Prime Minister returning to 10 Downing Street to be met at the door by Sebastian, who greets him with a kiss and hands him a cup of tea. He also sneaks in a little spank on the PM’s butt. Inside, the PM is meeting with Sebastian and Gregory. He tells them that he needs someone to accompany him to a NATO summit. Sebastian none too subtly raises his hand to volunteer. The PM asks Gregory instead which upsets Sebastian. So when the Leader of the Opposition (played by Tony’s Manchild co-star Nigel Havers) arrives, Sebastian decides to retaliate. The political leaders trade barbs until Sebastian announces that he needs to frisk Philip, which, naturally for Sebastian, is more like copping a feel than frisking. Once he is done with that, Philip sits down only for Sebastian to come over and sit in his lap, offering him a tray of chocolate fingers. Sebastian says that he likes to dunk them and then suck on them. Philip gets up to leave and Sebastian follows him to the door. Sebastian says he will text Philip his phone number and then kisses him goodbye on both cheeks. After Philip leaves, the PM tells Sebastian that was an extraordinary display. Sebastian says “Ooooooh! Jealous?” and flounces out. The PM is left stunned as usual. Episode 2.02: The establishing scene shows the PM and Sebastian getting out of the car at 10 Downing Street. The PM briefly acknowledges the waiting photographers before going straight inside. Sebastian, however, vamps it up, posing for photographs. Inside, the PM and Sebastian are meeting with the U.S. President and his aide, Marvin. The PM and the President are arguing over some action the President wishes to take and he is demanding that the PM back him. The PM doesn't agree, insisting that the U.N. be heard first. Each time one of them makes a point, his respective aide makes a face or a gesture of contempt towards the other. The PM and President don't take any notice of this. Eventually, the PM asks Sebastian to get some information compiled by British Intelligence while the President asks Marvin to get information from the CIA. The aides get into a "My leader is better than your leader" argument that quickly degenerates into a slap fight. The PM and the President finally notice the goings on and the PM demands that they stop it. The leaders must leave and on the way out, the PM stops to chastise the aides for behaving in such an unprofessional manner. The President interrupts to say he'll handle it and lectures them like they are misbehaving children. Sebastian and Marvin hang their heads in shame. However, as soon as the politicians are out of the room, the aides start making fun of them. Episode 2.03: (Note: This sketch is the same that was done at the Cream of British Comedy in March 2004 at the Royal Albert Hall in London as a charity event for Roger Daltrey's Teenage Cancer Trust. That live sketch appears as an extra on the Series 1 DVDs) The scene opens with Sebastian on his knees in front of the PM. The PM asks if it will be much longer and Sebastian points out that his mouth is full at the moment. It is finally revealed that Sebastian is actually sewing up a tear in crotch of the PM's trousers, which the PM didn't even notice was there. Sebastian 'helpfully' runs his finger along the exact area where he claimed it was. The PM walks over to his desk to look over some papers and, as he is bent over, Sebastian stands right behind him and starts to rub himself against the PM (who somehow, once again manages not to notice anything unusual going on). Sebastian only stops when someone arrives at the door. It is an envoy from the British embassy in Moscow, Andrew. Andrew greets the PM as Michael and Michael is delighted to see him. When the two shake hands enthusiastically, Sebastian insists on no touching and pushes Andrew away. The PM tells Sebastian that Andrew was his aide before Sebastian and goes to hug Andrew. Again, Sebastian jealously breaks it up. Michael and Andrew start to reminisce about how they used to stay up drinking tequila, including a night that Michael locked himself out of his room and knocked on Andrew's door at three o'clock in the morning. Sebastian angrily wants to know if the PM was naked. The PM is taken aback and insists it's a long story. Andrews suggests they get down to business. The PM sits down at his desk and as Andrew is walking over himself, Sebastian makes a point of keeping himself between the two other men. After handing the PM the paperwork, Andrew suggests they get together while he is still in town. Sebastian grabs the PM's arm and insists that he is busy. The PM, while barely changing his facial expression, tells Sebastian he is hurting him. Sebastian lets go and physically escorts Andrew out the door. After he has left, Sebastian asks the PM not to invite his exes around. The PM brushes him off, and Sebastian dejectedly walks to the door. He suddenly turns around and demands, "Did you sleep with him?" Episode 2.04: Over a shot of Sebastian setting garden gnomes out front of 10 Downing Street, the narrator informs us that the Prime Minister and his wife are preparing to make an important announcement - they are going to have a baby. Inside, Michael and his wife are sitting on the office couch being all cuddly, when Sebastian walks in. He is annoyed to find Mrs. PM there and stares daggers at her while walking over to sit down. Michael asks Sebastian to prepare a press release confirming that Sarah is pregnant. Sebastian is shocked and upset by this news but tries to feign indifference. He sarcastically asks if there isn't something actually important to discuss. Michael thinks it may be a big story and wants Sebastian to handle it. The phone rings and Michael goes to his desk to answer it, leaving Sarah alone with Sebastian. Sebastian's first question is to wonder if she knows for sure it's Michael's. He then accuses her of tricking Michael into it. A surprised Sarah informs Sebastian that they've been married for twelve years and trying for children for two. Sebastian next tells her that when she's putting on the pounds eating for two, Michael will be looking elsewhere. Sarah finally cannot take any more and runs from the room in tears, leaving a smug Sebastian behind. Michael gets off the phone at that moment and asks if Sarah is alright. Sebastian dismisses it as "woman's problems". They start to work on the press release with Sebastian making suggestions such as "We regret to announce..." and "She's done it, the bitch has done it." Michael is angry (for once) and demands an explanation. Sebastian apologizes and starts to leave. He stops and tells Michael, "You know, we could have adopted." Episode 2.05: The Prime Minister and Sebastian are at a television studio preparing for an interview that Michael is doing on Newsnight. Sebastian shoos away the makeup woman and asks the interviewer, Gavin Esler, what questions he's going to ask. When Gavin refuses, Sebastian tries to grab his papers to see. Michael assures Sebastian that he can handle any questions. Before being chased off the set, Sebastian tells Gavin not to ask questions about the man who runs the airline and gave money to the party. When that is, in fact, the very first thing Gavin mentions, Sebastian, who is standing by the camera, calls him a bitch. While Michael defends his party's actions, Sebastian offers words of encouragement from the sidelines, as only Sebastian can. When they cut from live to video footage, Gavin immediately demands that Sebastian be removed from the studio. While a stagehand pushes Sebastian out, he informs Gavin that he only came that night because he thought he'd get to see Jeremy Paxman, who is much better looking. Michael is embarrassed by all this, and things don't improve when Gavin asks him if Paxman is really better looking. Michael assures him that he's "lovely". Episode 2.06: At Number 10, a party is going on to celebrate an election victory. When Michael hugs his wife, Sebastian naturally has to interrupt. While Michael is thanking Sebastian for his help, George Michael's song Careless Whisper starts to play. Sebastian pulls Michael in for a slow dance. A bemused Michael tries to pull away but Sebastian keeps pulling him back. Michael tries to talk business but Sebastian shushes him, putting a finger on his lips. When Gregory comes over to offer his congratulations, Sebastian mouths "Fuck off" at him. Sebastian then starts to run his hands up and down Michael's body, finally grabbing his ass. He tells Michael not to fight it and moves in for a kiss. Michael finally breaks free before lip contact is made, as a fast song begins. He dances away from Sebastian to greet the Chancellor. Sebastian walks away and starts to cry. Seeing this, Michael goes back over to him. Michael asks Sebastian, if, just maybe, Sebastian might have just the slightest crush on him? Sebastian denies this and claims he just wanted to say "Well done." He then grabs Michael and passionately kisses him, much to the shock of the crowd. After the kiss is over, Sebastian pats Michael on the shoulder and says, "Well done", before flouncing off leaving a stunned Michael in his wake. |
