Summary of Anthony Head's storyline:

Part one (April 2, 2007) Baltazar - Scourge of the Galaxy, is about to launch a plot to use a plasma ray to superheat the earth and turn all carbon-based life into diamonds. The Doctor and his companion, Martha Jones, show up in the Tardis just as he is about to start. The Doctor tells Martha that Baltazar forged his spaceship himself and Baltazar claims it is the greatest warship ever built. The Doctor manages to foil the plot by destroying Baltazar's ship with a spoon - a spoon which was forged on a planet infected by a fungus which turns Baltazar's ship into rust. The Doctor and Martha leave before the ship explodes, not realizing that Baltazar has escaped with his metal bird Caw and is vowing to seek vengeance on the Doctor.

Part two (April 13, 2007) The Doctor and Martha are taken to Caw's homeworld, where Caw warns them of Baltazar's plan to find the Infinite, a relic from the earliest days of the galaxy which will reportedly will give whoever finds it their heart's desire. The Doctor decides to go after the Infinite himself to prevent it from falling into Baltazar's hands. After he and Martha leave, it is revealed that Caw was acting on Baltazar's orders. Baltazar plans to let the Doctor and Martha find the Infinite for him while he follows them with a tracker planted on Martha.

Part ten (June 15, 2007) The Doctor and Martha have been to various planets in search of the Infinite and discovered that there are various data chips that will lead them to it. They are now on Volag-Noc, the prison planet where Baltazar was once held. They discover that the data chips that they have gathered were all in the possession of someone who was imprisoned there with Baltazar. The Doctor and Martha have a confrontation with a former prisoner, Gurney, who is about to shoot Martha only to be stopped when Baltazar shows up on Caw.

Part eleven (June 22, 2007) Gurney shoots Caw and is then shot by Baltazar. Baltazar captures the Doctor and Martha, forcing them into the Tardis. He reveals that he had planted Squawk (Caw's son) on Martha as a tracker and that he had been following them the entire time, killing the people in possession of each data chip along the way. He then uses the Tardis to read the data chips and locate the position of the Infinite. Once he has the coordinates, he stuns the Doctor and leaves with Martha.

Part twelve (June 29, 2007) Baltazar and Martha arrive at the Infinite. It is located on a derelict spaceship. Baltazar send Martha down into the hold to find it while he waits safely by the Tardis. However, the Doctor shows up riding Squawk and manages to knock out Baltazar. He then heads down into the hold where Martha is seeing her heart's desire - an image of the Doctor.

Part thirteen (June 30, 2007) Martha realizes that her 'heart's desire' will disappear as soon as she stops believing in it. Baltazar however, has regained consciousness and is having his own vision of his heart's desire: gold, diamonds and other treasures. The Doctor assures him that it is all an illusion and uses his sonic screwdriver to destroy the rusted remains of the ship, destroying Baltazar's treasure in the process. The Doctor and Martha make it safely to the Tardis before the ship completely falls apart, leaving Baltazar behind. However, Squawk is still there and he carries Baltazar off to places unknown.
