Summary of Anthony Head's storyline: Margaret, a highly placed civil servant, deserts her job, believing she's defecting to Russia, via Jersey, with her lover. Bill is her cricket obsessed Personal Assistant, who appears in two short scenes before Margaret leaves London. (NOTE: Anthony Head's mother, Helen Shingler, also appears in this episode as Margaret's mother. The two have no scenes together. This is one of two shows in which both appeared, the other being Enemy at the Door.)
