Summary of Anthony Head's storyline: An adaptation of D. H. Lawrence's once controversial novel. Lady Chatterley finds herself sexually frustrated when her husband is severely injured in WWI and embarks on a torrid love affair with the estate’s gamekeeper. Anton appears briefly at the beginning of the movie. He is a rather humorless German guest at a house party being held by the Chatterleys'. During the dance, it is announced that England is now at war with Germany and everyone, except Anton, drinks a toast to England. The Chatterleys, in an apparent effort to be hospitable to all their guests, also offer a quiet toast to Germany along with Anton.
